Hello! I’m James Ashe, and I’m a freelance illustrator with a focus on storytelling, nostalgia, and my own experiences in my illustration. I’ve been drawing since I was old enough to hold crayons, and now drawing is part of my job! I enjoy making story based illustrations that both adults and children can enjoy.
On my Substack you will get a glimpse into my life, creative process, and what inspires me. This a journal that reflects on my own creative practice. I plan to make most of my content accessible to all members, and I have plans later down the line for tutorials and sharing my process of making work.
